Privacy Policy

The short version

Your files never leave your device. Conversion happens in your browser, not on a server. We do not have - and cannot have - access to the files you convert.

1. Your files

EasyConvert performs all conversions locally in your browser using WebAssembly (ffmpeg.wasm). Files you select are never uploaded, transmitted, stored, or seen by us. When you close the page, nothing about your files remains with us, because nothing ever reached us.

2. What is stored in your browser

We use your browser's local storage to remember: your daily free-conversion count, and (for Pro users) your license key and its last validation date. This data stays on your device. You can clear it at any time through your browser settings.

3. What our service providers see

• Cloudflare hosts the website and, like any web host, processes standard request data (IP address, browser type) to serve pages and prevent abuse.
• jsDelivr / unpkg serve the open-source conversion engine your browser downloads; they see a standard file request.
• Lemon Squeezy, our merchant of record, processes payments. If you subscribe, they collect your name, email, and payment details under their own privacy policy. We receive your email and license/subscription status, never your card details.
• When a Pro license is activated or checked, the license key is sent to Lemon Squeezy's license API to confirm it is valid. No information about your files is included.

4. What we do not do

We do not run ads, do not use tracking or analytics cookies, do not sell or share personal data, and do not require an account to use the service.

5. Your rights

For billing-related data held by Lemon Squeezy, you can exercise access/deletion rights through them or by contacting us. For everything else, the data lives in your own browser and is under your direct control.

If our practices change, this page will be updated and the effective date revised.
